Scenic course along the shores of Lake Erie and
through beautiful Luna Pier Michigan. Well marked,
accurate 5000 meters.
Timing by the Michigan Running Foundation
2nd annual race in memory of Felisa Barnes.
Felisa was very involved in school and athletics,
especially cross country and track. Felisa was such a
hard worker in all she did and also very successful.
She was always achieving personal bests in
everything she tried. The Sparkler 5k is held in her
honor for all of her hard work and success. The
money that is raised will go towards a scholarship at
Erie Mason for a senior that is involved in school
academically and involved in cross country and track.
Come and enjoy the wide garage sales and join
in to watch the fireworks the day before the race.
