contest participants will come to the
Playmakers truck before the race to
be judged. Awards will be given prior
    to the run award ceremony.
Proceeds for race will go to help an American Veteran.

This race was started in 2010 to raise money to purchase a wheelchair
van for Dolores Hensley a longtime supporter of Runners in Michigan.
The race was a HUGE success and we accomplished our goal.

The new goal for the Run Thru Hell on Halloween will be to help an
American Veteran. This year all proceeds from the race will go to help pay
the medical bills of Staff Sgt. George Brosenne. SSG. George Brosenne
has been a member of the Army and Maryland National Guard for 16
years and has been deployed oversees as part of Operation Iraqi
Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom/Afghanistan in excess of 4
times. In 2006
SSG. Brosenne was awarded the Soldiers Medal for
risking his life to save the lives of 3 of his comrades while serving his
country in Iraq. He was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic
Leukemia and is currently without medical insurance.  SSG. Brosenne
has undergone a prolonged hospitalization and requires an urgent bone
marrow transplant.  Help is needed to cover the insurmountable medical
bills.  Let’s join together and help a man who has risked his own life
fighting for our freedom.
