    2012 Race Features:

    First annual event to support athletics at Lansing Community College

    Timing: The race will be timed using disposable RFID tags.
    Timing mats at start and finish

    Course: Start and finish on Grand Ave in front of LCC. Accurate 5k.

    Awards: Unique Medal in the shape of a Star.
    Medal and special prize to Overall, Master, and Grand Master Winner
    Medals to top 3 places in each age group.
    Age Groups: 12 and under,13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-  
    44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

    The Athletic Department at LCC is hosting a race on April 20, 2012 called Run for the Stars. We would like to see many LCC
    organizations come out and join us in this event. We would also like to make this a fund raiser for your organization. The race
    will give back $5 for every entry your organization submits. Minimum 10 entries to qualify. This is not limited to your club
    members but can be friends and family as well. Encourage your  members and their family and friends to enter the race and to
    make sure they list the name of your organization on the bottom of the printable or when they enter online
